Crash 1 especially is not good. It's imprecise, unfair and sluggish. Compare it to something like the SNES Donkey Kongs and you see the difference between good hard, retro platformers and bad ones. Crash never lives up to my memories of playing it when I was a kid, something like Donkey Kong Country 1-3 does. senordelsol.
Well, of course it would be better. However, canceling orders or not buying the game because of 30fps is really n-sane. Also Wipeout in general is more of a fast paced game compared to Crash Bandicoot or other platformers.
Crash Bandicoot NSane Trilogy is painful. I've played the first Crash game to death on the OG Playstation, even as a kid I found it fairly difficult but I still managed to breeze through it several times. NSane Trilogy is either NSane-ly broken or I've just somehow gotten terrible at it. It seems like I'm not the only one that has this
Ah, 50hz gets halved as well and ends up being 25 FPS of course. PAL was a bit worse then. The frustrating thing was that at least here in sweden 60 hz compatible TV was very very common from my experience so having all your localized and region locked games converted to 50hz with often horrible results was just completely pointless.

I turned all of the settings down so the FPS shouldn't be an issue at all.

2023:1) Startup file - compatibility - turn off full screen optimization.2) Nvidia control panel - disable vsync - set maximum fps frequency.
Besides, frame rate does not really matter in the slightest when it comes to a single player platformer, as long as it stays at a steady 30 there shouldn't be any issues at all. PS.: And a question unrelated to Crash: Is there any lag in the PS Store like the PS3 has? It's a bit slow, yes, but it's noticeably better than the PS3 store.
