My fenix 6X pro won’t measure steps, heart rate or any other metrics. It seems to have happened on Sunday. The light on the wrist unit is on but doesn’t measure anything. Also will not connect to connect on my mobile or MacBook. Have reset it. Has anyone else had this problem? Many thanks

Good morning. I have experienced the same issues. I updated my max heart rate, but still ended up with very little anaerobic benefit or seen any zone 5 performances. Zone 5 is set at 90-100 percent of max heart rate and max heart rate was set at 175 bpm, which should put any effort over 157 bpm in the zone 5 area. 4875954 over 4 years ago. I just purchased a new Fenix 6 watch yesterday, and i am facing an issue with heart rate sensor, it is showing - - most of the time, when i place it correctly on the wrist or in my palm, it just shows the heart rate for few secs and goes back to - - . only it worked, when i was running outside, 5k, after few mins, it I don´t know what happened but the heartrate monitor disabled itself then randomly comes on again. Currently I don´t even get a reading of my heartrate during sport activities or throughout the day (Sleep, stress levels, heart rate etc). Nothing works now (its like a $800 stopwatch)
The 51mm case of the Fenix 6X Pro Solar is the biggest Garmin has ever made. All of that real estate is put to good use with not one, but two photovoltaic solar panels built into the watch.
I couldn't be happier. Garmin is possibly the best company that I know to their existing users. My first Garmin was a Forerunner 245 Music, which got so many new features over the course of its lifetime. Recently, I got a Fenix 6X Pro on sale, since I'm getting more into trail running and aiming at ultrarunning. Fantastic piece of equipment.

Same goes for even devices like treadmills. The way it works is Garmin will now broadcast both your current heart rate but also your current pace (speed) and cadence over the standard Bluetooth Smart device protocols/standards. This is currently available in beta for the FR245 & FR945 watches. No word on whether it’ll hit other watches The Garmin Fenix 6X Sapphire is fit for performance with a rugged, sophisticated design that features a big 1.4” sunlight-readable display (36% larger than previous f?nix models) with bezels in stainless steel, titanium or diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating· Enhanced estimated wrist heart rate and Pulse Ox sensors to support advanced sleep monitoring and altitude acclimation.

Garmin owns Tacx, which makes some of the very best smart turbo trainers. Tacx How Garmin Smart Trainer control works. The Garmin Fenix 6 will attempt to connect to your turbo trainer over ANT+

The wellness features feel so much more useful and intuitive here, and the heart rate accuracy is top-notch. Best multisport watch: Garmin Fenix 7 ; The king of multisport watches, the Fenix 7

Optical Heart Rate sensors across all brands are generally slow to respond to changes in heart rate. Good practice is to open the activity a minute or two before you intend to start (this also helps to get a better GPS lock) - the OHR sensor should pick up your HR before it starts increasing as you begin exercising.
